A Wilmington-based app is selling t-shirts to raise money for victims of Hurricane Florence.
Untappd is the largest craft beer app in the world, recently named to INC 5000’s list of the fastest growing companies.
The company is headquartered in downtown Wilmington.
According to a post on the company’s website, Untappd is donating the entire money raised from the shirts to the Foundation for the Carolinas Hurricane Florence Response Fund and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.

Most of our 85 employees in Wilmington evacuated before Florence arrived. Several among us have had homes damaged or destroyed entirely. Knowing that thousands experienced even greater loss, and that many have less resources and support, our team felt strongly that we needed to leverage our platform at Untappd to help our community rebuild. – Untappd
The back of the shirt features the Untappd logos with the state flags of North and South Carolina worked into the image of its Drink Socially bottles.
The company notes that the shirts will not be shipped immediately due to ongoing flooding and clean up in the Cape Fear region. It anticipates the shirts will be shipped in October.
