Grandmother's prayer closet withstands E4 tornado

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Recovery efforts continue this week in Alabama after an E4 tornado touched down earlier this month, destroying everything in its path.
Some buildings and homes managed to withstand the powerful massive storm, including a local grandmother’s prayer closet.
11 Alive reports Chaplain Jason Smith was out with Billy Graham’s Rapid Response Team when he made the surprising discovery. Smith shared the news on Facebook, saying the entire family survived.
“Are you kiddin me!!! My God is awesome!!! Shout somebody!” he wrote.
