A tornado that tore through Bryan on Wednesday was rated an EF2, according to the National Weather Service. The twister was reported about 4:45 p.m. along FM 1179 near Steep Hollow, on the east side of the Brazos County town. The rating means the tornado had winds between 111 and 135 mph.
