Flash Flood Warning In Effect For The Austin Area And Much Of Bastrop County Until 6 P.M.

A flash flood warning in in effect for much of Travis and Bastrop counties until 6 p.m. Saturday.
The National Weather Service says life-threatening flash flooding in the warned area, which includes Austin, is ongoing or expected to begin soon.
If you’re in a low-lying or flood-prone area, make a plan to get to higher ground. Do not try to cross any flooded roads.
