Showers and thunderstorms could bring flooding to Coastal Bend over the weekend
After a rainy start to the week, showers and thunderstorms continued to roll through Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas Thursday morning.
Several windows for heavy rain are expected to continue through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS is expecting a total of 2 to 4 inches of rainfall through the end of the weekend.
Due to slow-moving storms, the NWS is warning the Coastal Bend about possible flash flooding through Saturday and renewed river flooding this weekend.
High temperatures are expected to range between 80 and 95 degrees through Tuesday, while the lows will range between 70 and 75 degrees.
