Severe weather alerts expire after stormy Saturday evening and Sunday morning
HOUSTON — Storms moved through parts of Houston on Saturday and into the overnight hours. By 4:30 a.m., there were no longer any active alerts.
Multiple Tornado Warnings were issued early Saturday evening and again late Saturday night as storms rumbled north-by-northeast across the Houston area. They have now expired.
Radar confirmed two tornadoes touched down — in the Humble area and Liberty County — according to KHOU 11 Meteorologist Tim Pandajis. There are reports of some damage in Montgomery County.
If you’re in the path of a tornado, you should seek shelter in an interior room, take cover and stay away from doors and windows.
Another radar confirmed tornado, this one moving over I-69 near the Humble area, northern Harris County – multiple ground reports and pictures/videos verifying that in fact a tornado had touched down. @KHOU pic.twitter.com/sssknKcOcR

A few spotty showers could linger in the Houston Metro for the Texans tailgate. What else will linger? The warmth! Temps hover in the mid 70s most afternoon. The record stands at 80 degrees so likely in the clear but still not very winter-like temps.
