Tornado Warning issued for Harnett, Johnston counties until 8:15 a.m.
The warning includes Erwin, Benson and Lillington until 8:15 a.m.

Isolated Severe Risk Today: Additional showers and thunderstorms will develop through Thursday morning and into early afternoon along and ahead of the cold front. A few storms may become severe. Damaging winds are the primary threat, but an isolated tornado is possible. The greatest threat will be generally along and east of I-95. Rain totals around 1″ or less will be possible for most, with isolated higher totals possible. Temps will be in the mid 60s this morning, with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
Isolated showers will be possible into Thursday evening. A secondary cold front will follow for Thursday night.
Friday and The Weekend: Chilly high pressure will bring drier weather Friday, with highs in the mid 60s. The weekend will be chilly and windy, with only a stray shower possible Saturday. Afternoon highs will be in the mid and upper 50s. Frost will be possible Saturday and Sunday night. Lows will be in the mid and upper 30s.
Next Week: Temps return to seasonable norms at the start of next week. The next cold front will bring a chance of showers later in the week.
