Southport veterinary hospital gets new roof after Tropical Storm Idalia damage

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — A veterinary clinic in Southport is making progress after facing challenges from Tropical Storm Idalia in August.
According to the clinic’s Facebook page, Four Paws finally received its new roof in October, as it was partially destroyed during Idalia. The clinic is operating partially out of the back of the building. Staff now has access to equipment needed for surgery, dental and x-rays. They are currently running curbside service and patients are parking in the back of the building when waiting for appointments. The facebook page also says they are working hard to get their day to day operations started again.
