Storm damage: Videos, photos show aftermath of storms in Southeast Texas
COLDSPRING, Texas — A tornado passed through Coldspring on Monday as a series of strong storms moved through the Houston area.
The damage left behind was caught on camera by viewers.
There were other parts of the viewing area that were also hit by storms. Below are some of the ones that were sent in to KHOU 11 and others from our crews out in the field.
This was sent to us from Hai Le and shows a downed tree at Durham and 11th Street in the Heights.
Here’s a look at what it looked like in the Shenandoah area:
And here’s what it looked like in the Cypress area:
A traffic light fell at the intersection of TC Jester and Ella. This photo was posted to X by Franko Reyes.
Here’s some damage from southeast Houston:
Looks like this is some of the straight line wind damage in Southeast Houston. A large tree knocked down, doesn’t appear to be anyone hurt. This is in the area of Mykawa and Bellfort @KHOU pic.twitter.com/3srwlspllX
