Due to flooding, Addicks and Barker Reservoir floodgates closed | Patterson Road closed off

Precinct 4 staff closed Patterson Road from Highway to Eldridge Parkway near Bear Creek due to flooding.
Strong storms that moved through Thursday and overnight into Friday morning brought torrential rain to the Houston area, leaving some high-water spots.
🚨 Due to rising Buffalo Bayou levels post-heavy rainfall, US Army Corps has closed Addicks and Barker Reservoir flood gates.
