Leland Cultural Arts Center hosts 2024 Hurricane Expo

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The 2024 Hurricane Expo was held at the Leland Cultural Arts Center on Saturday.
The expo gave Cape Fear residents the chance to speak with experts and prepare for hurricane season. WWAY’s very own Chief Meteorologist Lee Haywood and Matthew Huddleston were at the event giving attendees advice on how to stay prepared. The event also hosted workshops, a public safety roundtable, and more.
