Brunswick County schools will be closed on Friday due to Hurricane Helene

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, (WWAY) — Due to inclement weather associated with Helene, Brunswick County schools and buildings will be closed for students and staff on Friday.
In addition, Friday will be designated as a nonrequired work day for staff.
All athletic events for Friday has been postponed as well.
October 21, 2024, will now be an instructional day for students and staff, it was previously designated as a teacher workday.
