HOUSTON — Lowe’s associates at the Kingwood store will hand out free tornado cleanup supplies Tuesday as part of a community response effort following recent tornadoes and severe weather.

The event, called the Tote Brigade, will begin at 10 a.m. at the Lowe’s located at 22600 Eastex Freeway. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

More than 200 heavy-duty, 27-gallon totes filled with essential cleanup items will be available. Each tote includes disinfectant wipes, goggles, paper towels, water, heavy-duty contractor trash bags, a flashlight, and batteries.

Lowe’s says it has been committed to aiding communities affected by natural disasters. Since 2017, the company has distributed more than 90,000 buckets and totes of relief supplies. Earlier this year, Lowe’s provided 750 totes of supplies to residents in Kingwood, Conroe, and Livingston following severe weather events.

Residents are encouraged to arrive early, as supplies are limited.
