On Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, the constable announced that Taylor Roy faces an additional charge of indecency with a child. He surrendered on Saturday after a new arrest warrant was issued. Roy was released from jail after posting bond.

Last June, Tasha Roy was also charged with one count of one count of indecency with a child and one count of possession of child pornography. She is also out on bond.

Initial arrests

Investigators said they were working from a tip when they found out Taylor Roy was working as a security guard at The Woodlands Mall while he was allegedly making the videos. While reviewing the videos, investigators said Taylor Roy’s face was recorded while wearing his security guard uniform.

“These types of things, these tips, a lot of times when they go investigate, they find out that there is more than just someone looking,” Ken Washington with the constable’s office said then.

The videos showed young girls undressing inside the Forever 21 dressing room at The Woodlands Mall, according to investigators. In addition to videos from the mall, they also found videos of juvenile females at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Spring and other parks in Montgomery County.

While authorities were serving a search warrant, they said they found several videos inside the couple’s house.

Investigators said they believe Tasha Roy helped make the videos, so she was arrested, too.

Detectives said Taylor Roy was also a tennis coach for kids between 8 and 17 years old in The Woodlands/Spring area.

According to records, the couple has a child of their own who was placed in the care of family members. CPS said it was investigating along with law enforcement.

“Be cautious of the surroundings your children are in. We don’t want them living in a police state but we want them to be cautious and aware,” Washington said.

Anyone who thinks their child could be a victim is asked to call Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s office at 281-364-4211 and ask to speak with a detective about case #24E015260.
