HOUSTON — Brazoria County will start collecting debris caused by last month’s tornado beginning Monday.

County officials say residents should separate and place debris properly to help the cleanup process. 

Here are debris removal guidelines residents should follow: 

  • Separate your debris
    •  Ensure you separate white goods (appliances) from green debris (vegetative) and construction and demolition debris. 
    • White goods (appliances) will be collected on a different day from other debris.
  • Placement
    • Place debris next to the roadway, ensuring it does not block ditches.

Debris pickup begins Monday, Jan. 13. for the areas highlighted green In the map below. Debris will be picked up by Brazoria County Road and Bridge Crews.
