Vance was scheduled to hold a rally Thursday morning at Raleigh’s Union Station.
The Trump-Vance campaign plans to reschedule the visit to Raleigh but has not announced a date as of Tuesday night.
Vance’s postponement comes a day after Kamala Harris announced she would reschedule her visit to Raleigh on the same day. Harris was due to bring her pick for vice presidential nominee.
On Tuesday, Harris announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz would be her running mate.
