Heavy showers could cause minor flooding in Bexar County on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The service said an upper-level disturbance and a cold front will produce widespread showers and thunderstorms along the Interstate 35 corridor from San Antonio to Austin.

Forecasts predict anywhere between 2 and 4 inches of rain, with up to 6 inches in isolated pockets.
“This will lead to flooding concerns, especially if large amounts of rain fall in a short period of time,” according to the National Weather Service.
The precipitation is expected to die down on Saturday, and the cold front will keep temperatures in the 50s over the weekend.
If any severe weather develops, the weather service added, the main threats would be damaging thunderstorm winds and a small tornado threat. The weather service has “low” confidence that severe weather will hit the area, according to a news release.
Tuesday should remain mostly sunny and cool, with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
