Heavy rain, flooding possible later this week
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) – Wednesday is expected to remain dry with plenty of sunshine in the forecast and highs in the 50s. A wet weather pattern will unfold through the remainder of 2018 with strong thunderstorms and flooding possible.
Rain will return to the area Thursday and Friday, so get the rain gear ready. We could see rainfall totals around 1-2” before the precipitation moves out late Friday. The unsettled weather looks like it could stick around through the New Year.
Today: Plenty of sunshine and nice. High 55.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with rain arriving in the evening. High near 50.
Friday: Showers & thunderstorms early. Warmer. High: 65.
