President Trump on Saturday traveled to Lake Charles, Louisiana to survey the damage caused by Hurricane Laura, a Category 4 that made landfall near Cameron, Lousiana with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph on Thursday.

Where did Hurricane Laura make landfall?
Hurricane Laura made landfall Thursday morning as a Category 4 hurricane near Cameron, Louisiana, causing widespread damage and storm surge, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The National Hurricane Center said the storm’s sustained winds measured at 150 mph, just short of reaching Category 5 storm status, as it moved slowly across the southwestern and western part of the state and Texas.
Hurricane-force winds extended outward up to 60 miles from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 205 miles.
