Subtropical Storm Ana is 1st named system of 2021 hurricane season, will head out to sea

Subtropical Storm Ana is the first named system of 2021.
As of the 5 a.m. update from the National Hurricane Center, Ana is moving west-southwest at 3 mph with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and gusts up to 60 mph.
The system is 200 miles northeast of Bermuda.
ABC11 First Alert Meteorologist Steve Stewart said the system will move back out to sea. Some rip current dangers will increase along the coast but there will be no other impacts.
It is not uncommon for a storm or subtropical storm to form before June 1.
