As showers continue in South Texas this week, the Rockport-Fulton area is dealing with damaging floods, and closed streets and businesses.
On Wednesday, Rockport Mayor Pat Rios told Kris 6 News the area received more rain in the past few hours than it does in half a year.
“It’s difficult for people to comprehend that,” Rios said to the television station.
