AUSTIN, Texas — A warm front brought in the clouds, high humidity and warm weather Tuesday morning. Fog will lift late morning with a mostly cloudy sky the rest of the day. The warm front is also keeping scattered rain chances in the mix through the day Tuesday.

Rain chances increase Wednesday and Thursday due to our second front of the week. As a result, a Flash Flood Watch will be in effect for Williamson, Travis and Hays counties, as well as areas to the west. It will be in effect Wednesday morning through Thursday evening. The potential for heavy rainfall in this timeframe will be enhanced by an influx of Pacific moisture from Tropical Storm Pamela that is expected to make landfall in western Mexico. An additional two to five inches of rain will be possible with isolated higher amounts.

Another cold front moves in Friday and brings a beautiful fall weekend with highs only in the 70s and morning lows in the 40s and 50s along with clear conditions!
