WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) –

The stars of the show One Tree Hill, which was filmed in Wilmington, are raising money to help the victims of Hurricane Florence.

Stars from the show took to social media to ask fans to honor the show’s recent 15th anniversary by lending support to rebuilding efforts in the Carolinas.

The #CapeFearlessChallenge has already raised more than $50,000.

“If One Tree Hill felt like home to you too, please consider supporting the Carolinas alongside us with our #CapeFearlessChallenge to raise funds for #Florence recovery,” Sophia Bush wrote in an Instagram post.
