Severe weather cancels Wool E. Bull's Winter Wonderland, Chinese Lantern Festival & Christmas parades on Sunday

Wool E. Bull’s Winter Wonderland, two local parades and the NC Chinese Lantern Festival have been canceled Sunday due to severe weather.
Previously purchased Dec. 10 tickets for Wool E. Bull’s Winter Wonderland, which runs all month, can be exchanged for a future remaining Wool E. Bull’s Winter Wonderland date with the exception of Friday or Saturday dates. Exchanges can be made by contacting the Durham Bulls Mako Medical Box Office during open hours at 919-956-2855 or by emailing wonderland@durhambulls.com.
The town of Pittsboro also canceled its Christmas parade on Sunday due to a threat of severe weather, and Tarboro’s parade has been rescheduled for Dec. 17.
Sunday is a WRAL Weather Alert Day due to a Level 2 risk for severe storms, flooding, damaging winds and possibly an isolated tornado.
