WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – Friday was WWAY Night at the Shark Tank. Chief Meteorologist Lee Haywood was reporting weather from the ball park, but it was the Wilmington boys of summer who produced some thunder at the plate.
The Sharks collected 14 hits in a win over the Florence Flamingos, final score 7-3. Eight different Wilmington players recorded a hit.
The team will be back at Buck Hardee field Saturday, taking on the Briarcliffe Seagulls.
