North Carolina homeowners and businesses who suffered damages from Hurricane Florence now have more time to request federal aid.  Governor Roy Cooper said Thursday following his request the deadline to apply for FEMA grants or low-interest small business loans has been extended to December 19th.  The original deadline was Thursday, following another extension that was granted in November.
