ROCKPORT — The staff at the Bay Education Center has spent almost four years counting the days. The Corpus Christi Ship Channel South Jetty in Aransas Pass is expected to close April 12 for Hurricane Harvey repairs.  The jetty is anticipated to reopen on May 31, Memorial Day weekend.
