Tropical Storm Hanna is continuing on its track toward the Central and South Texas coasts and is expected to make landfall on Saturday. The storm was about 285 miles East of Corpus Christi and is currently moving west-northwest at about 9 mph, according to the National Weather Service. A tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico has an 80% chance of development over the next five days, the National Hurricane Center said Wednesday afternoon. The wave could develop into a Tropical Storm Hanna within the next few days. Hurricane Alley Waterpark will temporarily close after an employee tested positive for coronavirus. The water park announced in a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon the park will be closed for two days after an administrative employee tested positive for COVID-19. During the park’s closure, the park will go under a “deep clean,” which will include draining the water out of the park and sanitizing all areas.
