BRYAN, Texas — Severe weather swept through Central Texas Wednesday afternoon, causing a reported tornado in Robertson County, near the Elliot community, The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office said.  The reported tornado may have caused some damage. The severe weather also caused two additional tornadoes in neighboring Brazos County.

HOUSTON — Tuesday’s flooding forced some school districts to cancel or delay classes on Wednesday. New Caney ISD is closed again Thursday and Friday. Fort Bend ISD canceled all after-school activities Wednesday and Thursday. Students who were not able to attend other schools because of flooding will receive an excused absence.
