JUNCTION, Texas (AP) – Emergency personnel have found the bodies of two of the four people swept away when raging floodwaters overtook a small city in West Texas. HOUSTON (FOX 26) – People from the Houston area are on the ground in the Florida Panhandle helping with the response effort following the landfall of Hurricane Michael. They include crews restoring power, firefighters, and volunteers with their own boats in tow. We get that everyone is on their guard when it comes to hurricanes. If nothing else, Hurricane Harvey taught us that we need to be prepared (even if it didn’t teach us that we shouldn’t build in the flood plain apparently). And even though Texas is generally beyond the time of year when hurricanes threaten our coast, the appearance of a large storm in the Gulf is always cause for concern. There was some confusion…

A mild cold front will push through the region early Wednesday morning and that means some nice weather for Thursday and Friday. Another front will arrive around Sunday and it will cool the region down again as we being next week.
