HOUSTON — Thursday was a nice break from the rain, but now we are expecting more widespread showers to move in starting on Friday. There’s only a 10% to 20% chance for rain throughout the morning Friday. Expect a 50% chance of rain and thunderstorms after lunchtime – this afternoon into the early evening. Expect scattered downpours through the weekend – a 50% to 60% chance. Showers and storms continue early next week as well.
