A tornado with maximum winds of 100 miles per hour touched down in a Northwest Side neighborhood Sunday evening, the National Weather Service confirms. Meteorologists rated the tornado as an EF 1 after a damage survey was conducted Monday in the Wildhorse subdivision, near the intersection of Shaenfield Road and Loop 1604. SAN ANTONIO — A Tornado Watch remains in place for Bexar County and surrounding areas until 5 p.m. Tuesday.
